Our Tours
Bulgaria is a land of contrasts, to the east extends the warm welcome of the Black Sea with its rocky capes, sandy beaches and sheltered bays. To the north lies the Danube, fringed by lakes and marshes, bordered by an alternating succession of elevated plateaus and broad steppe-like plains. But it is the majestic mountains that dominate Bulgaria, forming the physical heartland of the country as well as the spiritual soul of the nation.

Bulgaria Photo Holidays would like to tell you a little bit about this country and about Bulgarian Culture.
Bulgarian Culture. Situated as it is at the edge of Europe, Bulgaria has long been an important eastern gateway to the continent and a melting pot for a range of different peoples and cultures, all of whom have left their mark on the country and helped to shape its development and rich historical legacy. Today Bulgaria can rightly claim to be one of the greatest treasure houses in Europe, preserving not only priceless archaeological and architectural gems, but also a less well-known, but equally rich and important rural tradition of crafts, costumes and customs.

The Via Pontica Flyway
Bulgaria Photo Holidays would like to invite to watch and photograph or just enjoy birds during their migration Along The Via Pontica Flyway in Bulgaria.
Via Pontica is the second biggest flyway in Europe, passing along the Black Sea coast. Millions of birds and flocks of soaring migrants use this route between their breeding grounds and their wintering quarters – an impressive performance for any photographer. Different species have different peaks of migration in autumn, so if you wish to watch large flocks of storks flying over it is best to join us at the end of August, looking of Birds of Prey second half of September. However the whole period from mid August until the end of September is good. See waders, making use of the different types of coastal wetlands. Generally the variety of birds that could be seen during this period is amazing. Cover everything you will staying inland at our cottage.
Please note flights, travel insurance and personal items are not included in our holidays packages.
